BREAKING NEWS YOU CAN USE.

Sunday's annual Screen Actors Guild Awards marked another memorable night for actress Octavia Spencer. In addition to earning an award alongside her fellow cast members for overall best performance in "The Help," Spencer also held the honor of taking home the best supporting actress trophy.
Although both wins may boost Spencer's chances of winning the Best Supporting Actress category at next month's Academy Awards, she is actually more concerned about her image. Following her win at Sunday's SAG Awards the 39-year-old opened up backstage at the Shrine Auditorium on the pressures of staying in shape in Hollywood, and how "less valuable" actors are once they reach a certain weight.
"I am not healthy at this weight," she told People magazine. "Any time you have too much around the middle, then there is a problem. [And] when you reach a certain weight, you are less valuable."
In addition to her thoughts on overweight actresses she also feels the same pressures can apply to thin actresses. "I feel for the overly thin women as much as I do for the overweight women. It... has to change. If more women ate, they would be a lot happier," she says. "Let me tell you, I am a lot grumpier when I don't eat."
The Oscar nominee later added that she is currently working out with a trainer and would like to lose another 15 pounds so she; "can be healthy and look good for me."

Beauty Tip of the Day
Wearing Loose Powder
I love loose powder to set my makeup in place. It gives a final even touch to your face palette and when worn properly gives just the right matte look to your skin in the right places. Worn incorrectly, well you can look like you're wearing a mask or even worse like you're ready for the undertakers coffin. But how do you know what the correct amount is to apply. Well here's a little trick that most makeup artist use to get just the right amount onto your brush for an overall photo finish:
Sprinkle your loose powder onto a clean surface (I like facial tissue) but you can also use your vanity sink, or mirror (if you don't mind the cleanup).
Avoid dipping directly into a container as this often causes bacteria to collect in the container and ruins the shelf life of your powder.
Shake off any excess and powder from your forehead down to your neck smoothing as you go.
And That's A Beauty Best Bet!
